Testing G+ Integration
My new G+ address is https://plus.google.com/+IanRClayton
Its is a lot easier to remember and use than that long number like https://plus.google.com/u/0/110416650785933844421.
This post is mostly to test the connection with my Blogger account at http://axses-ianclayton.blogspot.com/. But I''ll share the setup with you below.
So now this post will automatically post to G+ and to Twitter. I am still looking for the setup that is automating the Blogger post to twitter. Its not twitterfeed, not IFFT, not YouTube connect (although that should not have mattered) and not G+. So am lost as to what to check next. Any idea are welcome.
Anyway I recommend that you use your name in G+ rather than the long number. Not sure if its available to everyone, but I do think you have to verify your account with Google first.
On your G+ Page, Place your cursor in the top left corner for the Google + main menu and then click Profile. Click the About tab, and under Links > Google+ URL, click Get URL. You will see a custom URL Google may have assigned to you. You cant change that but you can a short post-fix to make it unique to you. Ian
