Barbados Rumshop Culture



Barbados Rumshop Culture has it roots in a heritage of the sugar Barrons and the wealth of sugar in the age of sail.

In those days, a few hundred years ago, there were hundreds of sugar cane plantation making sugar and rum In Barbados. Today there are few actively working. The culture and heritage is however still very much alive.

Barbados rivals Ireland for how many pubs per capita there are. Only the pubs on this island are rum shops.
